The on-campus Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is a degree completion program that provides a focused nursing curriculum with didactic and clinical components built on the general education courses. Students transferring all 24 quarter credits of their general education courses from another college can usually complete the nursing portion of the program in six quarters, or in as little as 18 months.

The on-campus Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a degree completion program that provides a focused nursing curriculum with didactic and clinical components built on the general education courses. Students without previous registered nurse (RN) licensure may transfer up to 80 quarter credits of general education courses from another approved college. Students who transfer all 80 credits of general education courses can usually complete the professional nursing portion of the program in seven quarters, or in as little as 21 months.

Designed for active registered nurses, the online Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) program teaches the advanced skills and competencies necessary to elevate a nurse’s practice. While the number of months required for completion depends upon the previous educational background of the RN, the RN to BSN program can be completed in as little as 15 months.

The online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree program is designed to prepare nurses with their BSN for post-licensure education while providing focused skills for nursing education and leadership. The MSN program consists of a total of 56 quarter credit hours, which can be completed in as little as 15 to 18 months. The curriculum design includes core courses required to pursue a post-graduate certificate.

Other Tuition and Fees
General Education (Prerequisite Courses)
These courses are for those students wishing to complete some or all of the required prerequisites at DCN for either the BSN or ADN programs. The cost per quarter credit hour is $200 and does not include books or supplies.
Repeated Courses
Students required to repeat a course will be charged the current tuition per credit for that course.
Additional Fees
Students are responsible for all costs related to admissions testing, health insurance, background checks, immunization costs, and licensing test fees. All costs are subject to change at any time.
