If you’ve been thinking about a career in nursing, but you’re on the fence about what direction to take, you can take classes at a community college while you’re making your decision. If you take the right classes, they may transfer and fulfill the requirements of our BSN completion program.
Denver College of Nursing’s BSN completion program is now offered in Houston, Texas. Students enter the program with their prerequisite classes already completed. The program builds on general education and prerequisite courses that students take at other institutions and transfer to DCN Houston. Once enrolled in DCN Houston’s BSN program, students move quickly through the required nursing courses, which can take as little as 21 months to complete. When finished, you can take your nursing exam and, upon passing the exam, be on your way to your nursing career.
The list below are the courses required for students who don’t already have a bachelor’s degree. You also need general education courses from three different disciplines like Humanities, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, Communications, or History.
